National Farmers Market Week

National Farmers Market Week is August 3-9! There are currently more than 8,100 farmers markets listed in the USDA’s National Farmers Market Directory, up from about 5,000 in 2008. California leads the country in farmers markets, with more than 800 markets throughout the state!

Come on down to the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market and show your support for local farms and local food this week and around the year. By buying from local farmers and food crafters, you are helping cultivate a healthy food system.

Join us in celebrating National Farmers Market Week at our Market Innovators Celebration on August 9.
