Habitat for Predators     Natural predators including owls, hawks, bats and snakes help control farm pests such as gophers, squirrels, rabbits, and rodents. Sustainable farmers provide habitat for predators by hanging special boxes or perches or by leaving undisturbed wild areas for predators to live in. While protecting their crops with predators, farmers also help support species that have limited access to their natural wild habitat.
