The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market is a California Certified Farmers Market operated by CUESA. We run three markets per week, all of which take place at the Ferry Building in San Francisco. Since 1993, the market has been a crucial link between San Francisco residents and the farmers who practice sustainable agriculture in the region.
Getting Here and Parking
The Ferry Building is one of the most easily accessed locations in the Bay Area. You can reach it by all BART lines, many MUNI lines, the F Market Streetcar, the California Street Cable Car line, and several ferry lines. Click here for transportation and parking information »
Waste Wise Initiative
Since 2008, CUESA has transformed it's approach to waste management. First we instituted a 3-bin system that has effectively kept 90% of the farmers market waste out of the landfill. Next, in 2009, we got rid of plastic bags in the market. Read more about our Waste Wise program.
