There are many ways to support CUESA’s work: support local farmers and artisans at one of our farmers markets; participate in our education programs; attend one of our fundraising events; or consider becoming a sponsor of one of our programs, markets, or events.
A sponsorship of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, which is visited by over 25,000 shoppers each week, provides funds which support the complex operations of our popular markets. Updated market signage, tents, maps, brochures, Veggie Valet services, and the Info Booth, for example, are possible, in part, because of the ongoing support provided by local sponsors.
Examples of education programs that can be enhanced through sponsorships include the Schoolyard to Market Program, Market to Table Cooking Demonstrations, Seasonal Celebrations, Farm Tours, Sustainability Talks, Discovery Stations , and our weekly e-letter. These programs can be supported at a variety of levels.
We also rely on event specific sponsorships for our annual fundraising events: Summer Celebration and Sunday Supper. These events can be supported at a variety of sponsorship levels.
In-kind donations are also helpful. It’s possible to support market operations and programming efforts with donations of products and supplies, such as computer stations and office equipment, speakers and microphones, digital projectors, kitchen appliances, tables and chairs, etc.
