the old fashioned county fair gets a uniquely San Francisco spin. We've partnered with the SF Giants to introduce city dwellers to the wonders of urban agriculture/urban homesteading at the first ever Urban Eats program promoting and recognizing local homegrown and homemade foods. CUESA also will be organizing a series of live cooking, preserving and urban food production demonstrations for fair participants to enjoy.

When: Sunday June 20 from noon - 6:00 pm

Where: McCovey Cove (across the bridge from AT&T Park), near the corner of 3rd Street and Channel

If you're an amateur home gardener or cook based in San Francisco, you could show us your stuff and enter to win a ribbon in the categories below. The winner in each categry will receive two tickets to a San Francisco Giants game.

About the Giants County Fair

The Giants County Fair will take place June 11-20 at McCovey Cove (across the bridge from AT&T Park). Featuring midway games, fair food, music, and over 20 carnival rides including the Ferris Wheel, Bumper Cars, and Super-Swings, the Giants County Fair will be better than ever! Last year over 40,000 people visited the Fair and this year looks to be even bigger. The Urban Eats tent will be open to the public from 12-6 pm on June 20 and will be located near the corner of 3rd Street and Channel. General Admission is free. Read more.
