Will Allen at Book Passage

Food movement pioneer and MacArthur "Genius Award" winner Will Allen is the force behind Milwaukee's Growing Power, a model for urban farms around the country. The educational center produces enough food to feed thousands of people, while helping troubled youth, creating jobs, dismantling racism, bringing urban and rural communities closer together, and improving public health. In his new book, The Good Food Revolution, Allen points the way to building a new food system that can feed—and heal—broken communities.
