After Dark at the Exploratorium: Dirt

Dig into soil science and get the dirt on everything from mushrooms to meteorites at After Dark, the Exploratorium's evening series for adults that mixes cocktails, conversation, science, and art. Join biointensive farming expert John Jeavons to learn how food can be grown with a fraction of the soil and water used in conventional agriculture, take a tour of extraterrestrial dirt found as far away as Titan, and get down and dirty with urban farms, compost, seed bombs, and more.
