Stop by the CUESA Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.
Chef Baecker is the chef and co-founder with his wife Naomi Crawford of Pizza Politana, a Petaluma-based mom-and-pop business that runs several Neapolitan wood-fired ovens, including one off a custom-built mobile trailer. You can find their pizzas at various Bay Area farmers’ markets. Baecker and Crawford doesn’t sell your traditional pepperoni pizza but rather their pizzas are made using local, seasonal ingredients from the very same farmer’s markets they sell at which makes their pizzas one of a kind.
All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the white tents in front of the Ferry Building) at 11 am and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
