Presented by Zagat
Summer is here, and the herbs are fresh: parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme…basil, savory, and cilantro, too! CUESA celebrates the abundance of herbs at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market with a day of tasting, learning, and cooking.
10 am - 1 pm: Herb Activities: Make Your Own Bouquet Garni!
Make yourself an herb bundle to take home, pick up our herbs guide and recipes, and learn about the health benefits of cooking with fresh herbs and which ones are in season.
This activity is presented by Zagat. Join the Zagat e-newsletter to get in-the-know information on San Francisco’s culinary scene as well as curated top lists, videos, and more.
11 am: Zagat’s 30 Under 30 Honoree Maya Erickson of AQ Teaches Herb-Themed Seasonal Cooking Demo
All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the white tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
The Herb Celebration continues on Tuesday, July 23. Learn more about cooking and canning with herbs at Strawberries and Summer Herbs: Jamming Workshop with INNA jam.
