Greens Celebration!

Saturday, March 17, 2012 - 10:00am to 1:00pm

Collards, dandelion greens, spinach, kale, and chard…oh, my! There are so many greens in the market right now. Do you have a favorite?

10:00 am - 1:00 pm

This St. Patty’s Day, CUESA is celebrating greens by serving them up juiced and raw for mixing and tasting. Come to the CUESA Classroom and make your own signature green juice blend using fresh greens, ginger, and citrus. While you are there, pick up some of our favorite greens recipes and our Ferry Plaza Farmers Market green guide.

Also, enjoy greens-centric cooking demos in the CUESA kitchen:

11:00 am - Dara Merin of The Sage Table will demo swiss chard and beet greens recipes.

11:45 am - Ray Plosscowe of Cafe Gratitude will demo fun raw greens recipes.
