The fourth Annual Goat Festival – A Celebration of All Things Goat! – co-hosted by CUESA and the makers of a wide array of Northern California goat milk products. Last year, hundreds of fans lined up to meet the “kids” visiting the city from Redwood Hill Farm, watch cooking demos featuring food made from goat milk, get free samples of goat milk soaps from Tierra Mia Organics and taste local goat goodies from Redwood Hill Farm, Cypress Grove Chevre, Laloo’s Goat Milk Ice Cream, Happy Goat Caramel and Kidding Around With Chocolate.

• Bring the kids to play with Redwood Hill Farm adorable baby goats in the south driveway near the Sur La Table store; learn more about Redwood Hill’s “kids” on Facebook. The Petting stable will be located in the South Driveway.
• Learn more about goat producers in the market, including Achadinha Cheese Company, Andante Dairy and Bodega and Yerba Santa Goat Cheese; take home a goat cheese guide and samples.
10-11 am: Meet the Makers!
• The owner/operators of successful, sustainable, goat businesses based in Northern California will talk about why they work with goats.
