CUESA's Summer Celebration

Sunday, July 10, 2011 - 6:00pm to 9:00pm

This event has passed. For our next Summer Celebration, please see our events calendar.

At the first annual Summer Celebration, guests will graze and mingle while meeting the people behind their food. They’ll fill up on seasonal fare, but they’ll also leave knowing they’ve provided much-needed support for CUESA’s ongoing education programs, including free cooking demonstrations, low-cost kitchen skill-building classes, the new Schoolyard to Market program, and sustainability scholarships that help farmers become leaders in their field.

This walk-around tasting event will take place  in the Ferry Building Marketplace and will feature a whole beast carving station presented by chef  and butcher Ryan Farr;  a raffle conducted throughout the evening for a range of prizes;  a whimsical photo booth courtesy of Magbooth;  live music, and more! Because locals farmers and artisans are at the center of everything we do, each scrumptious bite will highlight ingredients sourced from the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.  Tickets are $95 per person, including all food and beverage.  $50 of the ticket price is considered a tax deductible donation. Watch a video of last year’s reception here.
